How to have a client sign on behalf of a LLC
When signing on behalf of your LLC you should sign as follow:
John Doe on behalf of ABC, LLC as its Manager (in the case of a member-managed LLC you would use Member/Manager)
LLC Titles Are VERY Important
As with corporations and partnerships, titles are important when signing LLC legal documents and contracts. If your title is "member" or "manager," it must be used when you sign documents. The other party must learn at least two things from your signature. First, the other party must be comfortable that you have the company authority to sign contracts. As a member or manager, you legally have that authority. Second, the other party must be aware you are not signing the document personally, but on behalf of the LLC.
