5.1 Advertising Policy

Marketing to the public is an agent expense and responsibility.  We have structured systems within the company such as Ikeyrealty.com, and recommended, cost-effective marketing vendors such as Tourfactory.com anRealtor.com to ensure that listed property is presented professionally to the public and follow-up is maintained with our clients. Please make use of the appropriate advertising systems and programs

5.2 Brand Standards

Any signs, letterheads, brochures, websites or other marketing materials or contractual materials, whether virtual or physical are to be presented and utilized consisted of the Key Brand Guidelines Manual. Click Here to view the brand guidelines

This manual is available at Keyrealtyagent.com > Presentations > Key Brand Guidelines.  All material using the Key Realty logo must be used in compliance with the Key Brand Guidelines for the Regional Office. If your broker or managing partner decides that any item is in violation of the Key Brand Guidelines, discontinuation of that specific use shall be implemented as soon as possible.

5.3 Business Cards, Printed Materials, and signs

All marketing materials, signs and business cards must be produced in accordance with the Key Realty Brand Standards Manual.  Marketing materials must be reviewed and approved by the appropriate Key Realty Regional Office.

5.4 Cameras and Photographic Work

It is the responsibility of each associate to provide pictures of his/her listings for marketing purposes. It is the Company's conviction that each associate should own a camera for this as well as other business and/or personal purposes. If a home is not properly photographed and staged in the Multiple Listing Service and on the internet, it is not “on the market.”

Additionally, it is worth noting that a professional photographer’s work can have a significant impact on the marketability of a listing and the offering of this service can greatly enhance the listing presentation.

5.5 Computers, Copy Machines, and Equipment/Software

All electronic devices, computers, copy machines and cellular equipment necessary for the completion of a transaction, or for the general business use of the salesperson will be paid for by the agent. Office equipment, supplies, reference materials, etc. shall be provided by and paid for by the agent.  The administrator’s/brokers files are the property of the company.

5.6 Phone Policy

All phone calls should be returned as soon as possible.  Studies have shown that the expectation from the public is 20 minutes or less.

It is highly recommended that agents record a message on voicemail explaining when they will respond to a call received after hours.

5.7 Social Media Company Policy

This policy applies to Internet websites including social networking sites and blogs.

The agent shall not share confidential information regarding their clients on any Internet websites including social networking sites and blogs unless the client specifically permits such disclosures. Disparaging remarks about any agents, companies or clients in social media are specifically prohibited by Company Policy and could very easily be construed to be a violation of license law.

It is also Company policy that any reference to real estate, as an industry, marketing of listings and/or personal marketing activities shall include full disclosure of agent information consistent with company and state guidelines including adherence to the equal prominence provisions.

Key Realty regional offices may maintain regional Agent Forums on various social media sites.  These forums are for Key Realty agents only and should be primarily comprised of agents in that regional office.
